We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ASIC Verification Engineer to join our team at Cisco Systems. This role will be based in the Milpitas/San Jose office location.

About the Role

This is an onsite position that requires working out of our office location. As a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex ASICs for our core Switching, Routing, and Wireless products.

You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers who are passionate about delivering cutting-edge silicon solutions for Enterprises and Service Providers worldwide.

In this role, you will engage in new development of our UCS family, which includes designing and verifying complex blocks, clusters, and top-level environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect block, cluster, and top-level DV environment infrastructure
  • Create DV infrastructure from scratch for block, cluster, and top-level environments
  • Maintain existing DV environments and enhance them
  • Ensure complete verification coverage through implementation and review of code and functional coverage
  • Work closely with designers to develop and test ASIC designs
  • Support tests done with emulation and debug issues found during firmware development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in ASIC design verification with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • Prior experience with ASIC verification using UVM/System Verilog
  • Prior experience verifying complex blocks, clusters, and top-level environments for SoCs
  • Prior experience building test benches from scratch and hands-on experience with System Verilog constraints, structures, and classes
  • Prior experience with Perl and/or Python scripting
