Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior ASIC Verification Engineer to join our Core Hardware Business Unit.

Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a strong background in ASIC design verification to lead the development of our UCS family. As a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining DV environments, ensuring complete verification coverage, and working closely with designers and software teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in ASIC design verification, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in equivalent experience. Prior experience with UVM/System Verilog, complex block and top-level verification, and scripting languages such as Perl and/or Python is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and maintain DV environments for block, cluster, and top-level environments
  • Ensure complete verification coverage through implementation and review of code and functional coverage
  • Work closely with designers and software teams to resolve issues and implement fixes
  • Support tests done with emulation and debug issues found during firmware development
  • Be responsible for ASIC bring-up and debugging

Requirements:

  • 8+ years ASIC design verification experience with Bachelor's or Master's degree in equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with UVM/System Verilog, complex block and top-level verification
  • Prior experience building test benches from scratch, hands-on experience with System Verilog constraints, structures, and classes
  • Prior experience with scripting languages such as Perl and/or Python
