Senior ASIC Design Verification Expert

Cisco Silicon One is the only unifying silicon architecture in the market that enables customers to deploy the best-of-breed silicon from top-of-rack (TOR) switches through web-scale data centers and across service providers, enterprise networks, and data centers with a fully unified routing and switching portfolio.

As a Senior ASIC Design Verification Expert, you will participate in the design verification for Cisco high-end switching products. This includes development of simulation models, test plans, direct and random tests, code or functional coverage, multi-chip/system simulation, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with hardware, software designers, and vendors to develop and verify complex ASICs.
  • Participate in post-silicon lab bring-up experience to ensure seamless integration of components.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies to ensure robustness and quality of the design.
  • Maintain and improve existing verification infrastructure and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer science or computer engineering with 7 years of related experience or Master's in electrical or computer science or computer engineering combined with 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience in System Verilog/UVM, C/C++, and Python/Perl programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of ASIC design and verification processes, debugging methodology, and tools.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system and networking fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-silicon lab bring-up experience.
  • Formal verification expertise.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and architectures.
