Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist II to join our team at Methodist Hospitals. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality CT procedures to patients under the supervision of a radiologist.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Obtain guidance from the radiologist when necessary, and communicate effectively with patients to explain exam results.
  • Procure results on stat exams and communicate with patients and healthcare teams as needed.
  • Answer phone calls and schedule special procedures, maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist in training and orienting new staff and students, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Qualifications
  • Proven venipuncture skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with doctors, nurses, technologists, and support staff in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of self-confidence and professionalism.
Education and Experience
  • Associates Degree in Radiology required, with additional education or experience considered.
  • Successful completion of a clinical rotation through a CT program at an accredited college required.
  • Active Indiana Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Registration required.
