Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist II-Diagnostic Center to join our team at Methodist Hospitals. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our medical staff to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI Procedures: Conduct MRI scans with precision and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary protocols are followed and patient safety is maintained.
  • Provide Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient care, addressing patient concerns, and providing clear instructions and explanations throughout the imaging process.
  • Collaborate with Medical Staff: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Ensure that all MRI equipment is properly maintained, and supplies are stocked and organized to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Stay Current with Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technologies, techniques, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in radiology, CT, or MRI required; MRI experience preferred.
  • Certifications: ARRT, ARMRIT, or Radiology Certificate program certification required.
