We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist II to join our team at Methodist Hospitals. As a CT Technologist II, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring that images are of high quality and meet the needs of our radiologists and patients.
- Obtain guidance from radiologists when orders appear unclear or inappropriate, and take necessary steps to ensure that exams are completed correctly.
- Obtain pertinent histories from patients and explain exam results in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that patients understand their imaging results.
- Procure results on stat exams and communicate them to patients and healthcare teams in a timely manner.
- Answer all phone calls and schedule special procedures, providing excellent customer service to our patients and families.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff and students, sharing your expertise and knowledge to ensure a smooth transition.
- Active Indiana Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Registration through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- ARRT (R) Radiography Registration through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Certified Basic Life Saving Certification
- Associates Degree in Radiology
- Successful completion of a clinical rotation through a CT Program at an accredited college
