Job Title: Construction Materials Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our Field Division, you will be responsible for conducting on-site testing and inspections of construction materials, including concrete and soils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site testing and inspections of construction materials, including concrete and soils
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment, such as nuclear gauges and concrete testing equipment
  • Collect and analyze samples of construction materials
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of test results and inspection findings
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in construction materials testing and inspection
  • ACI Certification and experience with concrete testing and inspection
  • Knowledge of soils and aggregate testing and inspection
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ACI Level 1 Field Certification
  • 3rd party independent certifications, such as ICC, ACI, NICET, or TXAPA
