About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Construction Engineering Inspector to join our team at ECS Southwest, LLP. As a key member of our Field Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field Activities: Conduct on-site inspections, testing, and sampling of materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement.
  • Testing Procedures: Perform routine field tests using various methodologies and equipment, adhering to industry standards and compliance.
  • Data Collection: Gather and analyze data from sampling, test results, and inspections, and prepare detailed field reports.
  • Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers, and keep supervisors informed of site conditions and testing requirements.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training programs and certification opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Current basic level certifications and willingness to obtain additional advanced certifications.
  • OSHA 10 certification (a plus).
  • Ability to lift 40-70 lbs and occasionally lift 85 lbs to waist height.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Strong communication and math skills, with proficiency in electronic devices and MS Office.
