Construction Project Coordinator

Powerwell is a leading recruitment firm helping our clients discover top talent.
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Engineer to join our team. This role will work closely with Project Managers and Estimators to assist in all aspects of the estimating and project management process.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the estimating process, including attending pre-bids, quantity take-offs, and sub-bid solicitations.
- Develop and update master and short interval schedules for distribution project control.
- Provide weekly submissions of quantities installed for productivity reporting.
- Complete document control procedures, including issuance of relevant documents to sub-trades.
- Compile and submit required submittal packages with shop drawings for approval.
- Track material status and compile project punch lists or issues matrices.
- Review weekly productivity reports with the Project Manager and Superintendent to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with coordinating sub-bid solicitations and procuring resources.
- Ensure proper documentation for additional work and assist with project closeout requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- 2+ years of experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Primavera.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate professionally and take direction.
- Experience with BIM, GradeBeam, and Bluebeam.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
