Yardi Support Specialist/Business Analyst

Position Overview:
Are you a skilled Yardi expert adept at aligning technology with business objectives? Grubb Properties is seeking a Yardi Support Specialist/Business Analyst to spearhead and oversee our Yardi strategy. In this capacity, you will utilize your Yardi knowledge to improve our property management, investment, and accounting systems, ensuring smooth integration and user satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Yardi Oversight: Assess, design, implement, train, and manage Yardi updates, enhancements, and product integrations.
  2. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior management, property management, accounting, and investment teams to create and execute Yardi solutions.
  3. Business Analysis: Comprehend and convert business needs for Yardi and third-party applications.
  4. Project Management: Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors on upgrade and implementation initiatives.
  5. User Training & Support: Educate end users, develop Yardi policies and procedures, and provide ongoing assistance.
  6. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process and system enhancements to increase efficiency and satisfaction.
  7. Custom Development: Create tailored reports and tools to meet business requirements.
  8. Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor support and contractual obligations.
  9. Issue Resolution: Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate software issues as necessary.
  10. Professional Growth: Participate in user group meetings and conferences to stay informed on Yardi advancements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years with Yardi software such as Voyager, CRM, PayScan, etc.
  • Project Leadership: Experience managing IT, application, or Yardi projects.
  • Preferred Experience: Background in property management, accounting, or operations.
  • Skills: Exceptional change management, team collaboration, and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Attributes: High work standards, independent work ethic, and strong analytical and logical reasoning.
Physical Demands:
  • Dynamic Environment: This role requires mobility to coordinate work within the office and occasionally off-site.
  • Communication Tools: Regular use of a computer, telephone, face-to-face, and video communication to perform duties.
  • Moderate Supervision: Work under moderate supervision, receiving the necessary support to accomplish tasks effectively.
