Position Title: Yardi Support Specialist / Business Analyst

Overview:

Grubb Properties is seeking a knowledgeable Yardi Support Specialist / Business Analyst who excels at aligning technology with business objectives. This role is pivotal in managing our Yardi roadmap, utilizing your expertise to optimize our property management, investment, and accounting systems, ensuring effective integration and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Yardi Management: Assess, design, implement, train, and oversee Yardi updates and product enhancements.
  2. Collaboration: Partner with senior management, property management, accounting, and investment teams to create and execute Yardi solutions.
  3. Business Requirements: Analyze and interpret business needs for Yardi and third-party applications.
  4. Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on upgrade and implementation initiatives.
  5. Training & Support: Educate end users, develop Yardi policies and procedures, and provide continuous support.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to processes and systems to increase efficiency and satisfaction.
  7. Custom Solutions: Create tailored reports and tools to meet specific business requirements.
  8. Vendor Management: Oversee vendor support and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  9. Troubleshooting: Monitor, diagnose, and escalate software issues as necessary.
  10. Professional Development: Participate in user group meetings and conferences to remain informed about Yardi advancements.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  2. Experience: At least 3 years of experience with Yardi software, including Voyager, CRM, PayScan, etc.
  3. Project Management: Proven experience managing IT, application, or Yardi-related projects.
  4. Preferred Background: Experience in property management, particularly in accounting or operations.
  5. Skills: Exceptional change management, team collaboration, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
  6. Attributes: High standards of work, strong independent work ethic, and excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves movement within the office and occasionally off-site to coordinate work. Regular use of computers, telephones, and video communication is essential.
