Yardi Support Specialist / Business Analyst

Position Overview:
Are you a seasoned Yardi expert with a talent for aligning technology with business objectives? Grubb Properties is seeking a Yardi Support Specialist / Business Analyst to spearhead and oversee our Yardi strategy. In this position, you will utilize your Yardi knowledge to improve our property management, investment, and accounting systems, ensuring smooth integration and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Yardi Oversight: Assess, design, implement, train, and manage Yardi updates, releases, and product enhancements.
  2. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior management, property management, accounting, and investment teams to create and execute Yardi solutions.
  3. Business Analysis: Comprehend and translate business needs for Yardi and third-party applications.
  4. Project Management: Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors on upgrade and implementation initiatives.
  5. User Training & Support: Educate end users, develop Yardi policies and procedures, and provide ongoing assistance.
  6. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process and system enhancements to improve efficiency and satisfaction.
  7. Custom Reporting: Create tailored reports and tools to meet business requirements.
  8. Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor support and contractual obligations.
  9. Issue Resolution: Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate software issues as necessary.
  10. Professional Growth: Attend user group meetings and conferences to stay informed on Yardi developments.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years with Yardi software such as Voyager, CRM, PayScan, etc.
  • Project Management: Experience managing IT, application, or Yardi projects.
  • Preferred Background: Property management experience in accounting or operations.
  • Skills: Exceptional change management, team collaboration, and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Attributes: High work standards, independent work ethic, and strong analytical and logical reasoning.
Physical Requirements:
  • Dynamic Environment: This position requires mobility to coordinate work, both within the office and occasionally off-site.
  • Communication Tools: You will utilize a computer, telephone, face-to-face, and video communication regularly to perform your duties.
  • Moderate Supervision: You will work under moderate supervision, providing you with the support necessary to accomplish your responsibilities effectively.
  • Travel Requirements: While travel is minimal, reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are necessary for any required trips.
