Grubb Properties is seeking a skilled Yardi Support Specialist / Business Analyst who excels at aligning technology with business objectives. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your extensive knowledge of Yardi to optimize our property management, investment, and accounting systems, ensuring a smooth integration and high user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Yardi Management: Assess, design, implement, train, and oversee Yardi updates and new product features.
  • Collaboration: Engage with senior management, property management, accounting, and investment teams to devise and execute Yardi solutions.
  • Business Requirements: Comprehend and convert business needs into actionable Yardi and third-party solutions.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on upgrade and implementation initiatives.
  • Training & Support: Educate end users, develop Yardi policies and procedures, and provide continuous assistance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to processes and systems to increase efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Custom Solutions: Create tailored reports and tools to meet specific business requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor support and contractual obligations.
  • Troubleshooting: Monitor, diagnose, and escalate software issues as necessary.
  • Professional Development: Participate in user group meetings and conferences to remain informed about Yardi advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience with Yardi software such as Voyager, CRM, PayScan, etc.
  • Project Management: Proven experience managing IT, application, or Yardi-related projects.
  • Preferred Background: Experience in property management, particularly in accounting or operations.
  • Skills: Exceptional change management, team collaboration, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Attributes: High standards of work, self-motivated, and strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Dynamic Environment: This role requires mobility to coordinate tasks both within the office and occasionally off-site.
  • Communication Tools: Regular use of computers, telephones, face-to-face, and video communication is essential.
