About the Role

**Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center** is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience processes.



The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. You will be responsible for processing new hire paperwork, coordinating background checks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.



**Key Responsibilities:**


  • Process new hire paperwork, background checks, and I-9/E-Verify documentation
  • Coordinate drug screens and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Update personnel records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information
  • Assist with hospital recognition programs and employee engagement initiatives
  • Provide general Human Resources support and answer employee inquiries


**Requirements:**


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; college degree desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • General office and/or personnel-related experience required
  • 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office skills required
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
