Position Overview:
The Human Resources Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting employees with their inquiries related to Human Resources and Payroll functions within the organization.

Job Classification:
This position is classified as a 12 Month Classified Employee, requiring 241 workdays annually, with 248 paid days.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.42 to $15.83, based on experience.

Reporting Structure:
The Human Resources Support Coordinator reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services and Departmental Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and manage departmental phone inquiries and walk-in visits, guiding employees to appropriate self-service resources.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of District Job Postings across all recruitment platforms, collaborating with relevant departments to promote suitable job opportunities.
- Oversee the screening and onboarding processes for Substitute employees, serving as the primary contact for all substitutes.
- Assist in the monthly reconciliation of billing with District benefit providers.
- Support Short Term Disability administration as required.
- Facilitate employee timesheet submissions.
- Implement communication strategies to keep employees informed on various topics.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an administrative support role preferred.
- Familiarity with human resources and payroll processes is advantageous.
- Proficient in Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly adapt to new applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all job-related matters.
- Must demonstrate a courteous and helpful demeanor, with a willingness to assist colleagues.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Adherence to District policies and regulations is mandatory.
- Must remain free from alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance abuse throughout employment.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a workstation for the majority of an eight-hour workday.
- Manual dexterity for continuous computer input.
- Capability to occasionally lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
