Job Description

At Hughes Resources, we are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team in Freeport, Illinois. Our customer is a manufacturer committed to providing excellent service to their customers and producing quality products.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough tests on finished products to ensure compliance with customer standards.
  • Perform various chemical and physical analyses to ensure product quality.
  • Carry out daily and weekly routine testing on products and environments.
  • Accurately record and enter daily analytical results and preparation data.
  • Coordinate product holds and releases on a daily basis.
  • Assist the Supervisor/Manager in daily product operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience working in a lab environment is preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
  • Some factory or quality inspection experience is preferred.

This is a 2nd shift, temporary (full-time) position with a schedule of Monday - Friday from 2:00pm – 10:30pm, with overtime on weekends as needed. Training will be conducted on 1st shift 6am-2:30pm.
