Job Summary:

As a Medication Technician at First Atlantic Health Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of our residents. You will administer medications to each resident, maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and facility policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of medications and treatments
  • Assist Charge Nurse with medication management and reporting
  • Notify Charge Nurse of any medication shortages or outdates

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Graduate of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and on the Maine CNA Registry
  • Ability to interact with electronic medical records
