Electrical Quality Control Specialist

Zachry Group is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of electrical quality in our projects.
Job Summary:
The Senior Electrical Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of electrical systems, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, including wiring, connections, and terminations.
- Verify that electrical systems meet industry standards and company specifications.
- Identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent defects and ensure quality.
- Collaborate with electrical technicians and engineers to resolve issues and improve electrical system design.
- Develop and maintain electrical quality control procedures and training programs.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Provide guidance and support to junior inspectors and electrical technicians.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical inspection and quality control.
- National Center for Construction Education and Research's (NCCER) certification for Industrial Journeyman Electrician.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience working with Zachry Group or similar companies.
- Formal or technical education within the electrical field.
- Formal or technical education within the instrument field.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
