Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components in accordance with project specifications, emphasizing economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.
  • Conduct detailed electrical design analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize electrical design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and ETAP for designing and simulating electrical systems.
  • Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation related to electrical designs and projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
  • Provide technical expertise during project planning and execution phases, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during the design, development, or implementation phases.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, electrical codes (NEC, IEEE), and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation in electrical design.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a plant electrical engineering role, with a focus on power systems, electronics, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and ETAP.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEEE) applicable to industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience in conducting electrical design analysis, calculations, and simulations.
  • Ability to create technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
