Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests with a warm and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice to ensure a seamless check-in experience.
  2. Process registrations efficiently, using a computer system to input and retrieve information, and confirming details such as room rate and number of guests.
  3. Promote HEI Hotels and Resorts and brand marketing programs to enhance the guest experience.
  4. Make informed room selections based on guest needs, and provide welcome folders containing essential information and amenities.
  5. Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash and make change, and balance the house bank to ensure accurate financial transactions.
  6. Answer phone calls promptly, using positive and clear communication to resolve guest inquiries and concerns.
  7. Close guest accounts at check-out, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any issues that may arise.
  8. Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop effective solutions and negotiate results.
  9. Remain calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity, using experienced judgment and discretion to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a college degree preferred.
  • Hotel experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of front office operations and customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the front office, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
