Job Summary:

As a Front Desk Associate with Compass Group USA, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout their stay. Your primary duties will include checking guests in and out, resolving any challenges they may encounter, and promoting hotel services and amenities to enhance their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

Completes the registration/check-in process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent details.
Ensures rooms and services are correctly accounted for within the guest's statement, properly accounting for services provided by the hotel.
Assists guests with check-out payments or charges, accepting and recording vouchers, credit, traveler's checks, and other forms of payment.
Balances and drops receipts according to accounting specifications.
Provides guests with information about the facility, services, and amenities, receiving special requests and responding appropriately or forwarding them to the appropriate team members for decisions and actions.
Promptly answers telephone and email inquiries, retrieving and forwarding messages to/from guests, retrieving mail, packages, and facsimiles or other special items for customers as requested.
Fields and resolves guest complaints or escalates them for resolution to the appropriate department.
Assists guests in emergency situations, maintaining adequate supplies and functional equipment at the Front Desk.
Performs any special assignment deemed by the GM, Guest Services manager, or Manager on Duty.
