Job Responsibilities:

As a key member of the store leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Opening and closing the store in the absence of management, ensuring all necessary systems are operational and cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Processing product returns, managing order voids, and handling customer refunds while ensuring secure cash drops.
  • Engaging with customers to provide assistance with products and services, addressing inquiries to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Demonstrating and sharing exemplary customer service practices with team members.
  • Holding store keys to facilitate opening and closing duties independently as required.
  • Coaching team members on inventory management and vendor ordering processes.
  • Accurately registering sales transactions and addressing any discrepancies in pricing or scanning.
  • Assisting in the development and evaluation of promotional displays and seasonal merchandise.
  • Maintaining precise inventory counts and adhering to compliance standards for product freshness.
  • Ensuring correct pricing and signage throughout the store.
  • Supporting bookkeeping tasks, including cash reporting and payment processing.
  • Upholding a clean and organized store environment.
  • Overseeing the separation of food items and managing stock rotation.
  • Possessing a solid understanding of store systems and equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and state regulations regarding controlled products.
  • Conducting bag checks for team members prior to leaving the store.
  • Adhering to all company policies and fostering respectful relationships with colleagues.
  • Completing special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Training & Development:

Participate in training sessions and complete required learning modules as directed by management. Maintain valid certification or licensure as mandated by state regulations.


Communication:

Act as a bridge between management and team members, reporting any disciplinary concerns or customer feedback to leadership.


Minimum Qualifications:

At least one year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a retail environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with inventory control processes.
