Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the coordination of Weight and Balance documentation in collaboration with Global Load Control.
- Supervise ramp operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage all aspects of aircraft handling, including catering, cleaning, fueling, and the boarding/de-boarding of crew and passengers.
- Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, luggage pieces, and fuel quantities.
- Collaborate closely with ramp staff and the airport station management.
- Implement new procedures, processes, or product features and enhancements effectively.
- Monitor and achieve all quality targets and KPIs related to aircraft handling, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure cost-effective ground handling operations while upholding safety standards.
- Take on additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in aircraft handling is essential.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German and other languages is advantageous.
- Familiarity with airport procedures and processes is required.
- Understanding of Emergency Response (SERP) planning and LEAN methodology is preferred.
- Knowledge of passenger handling and gate operations is beneficial.
- Proficient in PC and Campus-supported software, including all MS Office applications.
- Willingness to travel and ability to work shifts and overtime as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Comfortable working in outdoor conditions and under noise pollution.
- Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.
