About the Role:

Nelson Connects is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Small to Medium-sized Business (SMB) sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new customers and grow existing relationships
  • Conduct regular sales calls and meetings with SMB owners and managers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and drive sales growth
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • 1+ years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
