The Client Sales Consultant is responsible for maintaining current customers and identifying potential opportunities within the existing customer base, while creating new business opportunities within the designated market and segment. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain relationships with customers and prospective customers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and utilize market segmented sales campaigns and presentations to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Sell services by estimating and bidding on new construction, remodels, retro-fits, modifications, upgrades, and service agreements to meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
  • Track and respond to bid market, bid specification, and plans to prepare competitive bids and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Ensure good communication and response times for both external and internal customers to build trust and loyalty.
  • Stay current on industry trends to ensure marketing of current products and services that meet customer needs.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with architectural, mechanical, and electrical engineering firms to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with industry partners to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, Engineering, and Project Managers during project development to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in trade industry organizations to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales team and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field, Bachelor's preferred, or relevant experience.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to develop and sustain customer relationships.
  • Motivated, driven, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in estimating projects and creating bids to meet customer needs.
  • Industry knowledge preferred to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to learn new applications as needed to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting and experience creating budgets to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Ability to travel regionally to meet with customers and prospects.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel daily to client locations and work sites.
  • Level 1: Sedentary Work.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional walking and/or standing on uneven and/or unimproved surfaces.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
