Job Summary:

The A/R Billing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, monitoring payments, and following up on overdue accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a working relationship with assigned accounts.
  • Work with customers to answer questions and resolve issues with their accounts.
  • Reduce delinquency rate by determining reasons for overdue payments.
  • Review terms of sales, service, or credit contracts to advise of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
  • Work with sales and Senior Management to escalate the collection process when necessary.
  • Maintain and update account files including address changes and purging old or invalid records.
  • Record notes in system regarding financial status of accounts and collections efforts
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6-12 months' experience in accounts receivable/collections.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel: Great Plains highly preferred
