Nursing Department Director

The Laurels of Milford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing care policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed vocational/practical nurses, and STNA/CNAs.
- Collaborate with the administration team to develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure our nursing department remains compliant and competitive.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement in our nursing services.
Requirements:
- RN license in the state
- Director of Nursing, management or supervisor experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric nursing
- Vent experience preferred
