Responsibilities- Provide exceptional nursing services, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
- Oversee the med cart and work the floor as needed, ensuring that our residents receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage supervisory and nursing support personnel, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles.
- Review staff performance and ensure that state standards of quality care are met, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Assist with day-to-day functions within the nursing department, including making rounds during patient checks and identifying and addressing any quality-assurance auditing issues.
- Train new nursing staff and assist with care plans and assessments, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
- Sit in on care conferences and work closely with our Director of Care to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality care.
We are looking for a candidate with great customer service skills, flexibility, compassion, and dependability. Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus, but all nurses are encouraged to apply. You must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with residents, staff, management, and families, and be able to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources.
