Nursing Director Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Wallick Communities. As a key member of our nursing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional nursing services and support to our residents and staff.
- Oversee the med cart and ensure that all nursing staff are adequately trained and equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing to identify and address any departmental deficiencies and implement correction plans.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure that all shifts are adequately staffed and that residents are receiving the best possible care.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to identify and address any quality-assurance auditing issues.
- Train new nursing staff and assist with care plans and assessments.
- Sit in on care conferences and provide input on resident care.
- Valid Ohio Nursing License.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with co-workers, residents, family members, and business partners.
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources.
- Ability to apply basic math skills.
- Ability to make complex decisions requiring a high degree of judgment.
