Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of nursing department policies and procedures.
- Recruit, select, and train competent nursing personnel to meet the needs of our patients.
- Develop and conduct regular in-service training classes to ensure our nursing staff remains up-to-date with the latest best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that nursing personnel have valid and current licenses, certifications, and training as required by the state.
- Coordinate the RAI process, ensuring timely and complete completion of MDS, CAA's, and Interdisciplinary Care Plans.
- Monitor and guide the completion of assessments in a timely manner.
- Schedule and facilitate care plan conferences and monthly QM meetings.
- Manage the Care Planning Process.
As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the overall operation of the department aligns with company policies, standards of nursing practice, and government regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills, basic leadership skills, and supervision experience. Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities.
