The Laurels of Milford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed vocational/practical nurses, and STNA/CNAs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in budgeting and financial planning to ensure the efficient use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.
- Director of Nursing or management experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric nursing.
- Additional certification in a nursing specialty is desired.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
