We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department at The Laurels of Milford. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed vocational/practical nurses, and STNA/CNAs.
- Collaborate with the administration team to develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable managed care, Medicare, and state Medicaid regulations, reimbursement systems, and methodology.
- RN license in the state
- Director of Nursing, management, or supervisor experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric nursing
- Vent experience preferred
