Senior Project Controls Lead

Arcadis is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Controls Lead to join our program management team in Charleston, South Carolina.

This role provides leadership and support to the project team, as well as creating strong relationships with our key client and related stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of capital projects, construction project cycle, scheduling, and project budgets to ensure projects meet required goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client facing role representing Arcadis to one of our key technology clients and stakeholders, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage Client and related stakeholder relationships.
  • Support and lead a team of project controls professionals with a focus on Cost Control, Earned Value Management, Budgets, Estimating, Change Management, Risk Management, Planning, Scheduling, Forecasting, Reporting Progress and Performance, and Project Funding.
  • Manage and plan resources to support Client needs.
  • Propose, initiate, and implement continuous improvement to increase efficiency and impact.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of applicable experience related to Project Control Leadership with a stable employment history demonstrating progression in leadership as well as project value and complexity.
  • Knowledge of project processes from preconstruction to close-out, as well as excellent understanding of project budgets, financial reporting, risk assessment, and change order management.
  • Comfortable working with and interpreting project contracts, as well as other project-related documents and reports.
  • Knowledgeable about project scheduling and the related project touchpoints, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Experience utilizing and interpreting data and reports generated by Primavera P6.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to ensure an effective and collaborative team environment, along with excellent stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Certification in one or more: PMP, CCP, CCM (Commercial & Contract Management Certification).
