Senior Project Controls Lead

Arcadis is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our project controls team in Charleston, South Carolina.

This role requires a deep understanding of capital projects, construction project cycles, scheduling, and project budgets to ensure projects meet required goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Arcadis to key clients and stakeholders, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage client and related stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead a team of project controls professionals in cost control, earned value management, budgets, estimating, change management, risk management, planning, scheduling, forecasting, reporting progress and performance, and project funding.
  • Manage and plan resources to support client needs.
  • Propose, initiate, and implement continuous improvement to increase efficiency and impact.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of applicable experience in project control leadership with a stable employment history demonstrating progression in leadership and project value and complexity.
  • Knowledge of project processes from preconstruction to close-out, as well as excellent understanding of project budgets, financial reporting, risk assessment, and change order management.
  • Comfortable working with and interpreting project contracts, as well as other project-related documents and reports.
  • Knowledgeable about project scheduling and related project touchpoints, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Experience utilizing and interpreting data and reports generated by Primavera P6.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to ensure an effective and collaborative team environment, along with excellent stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Certification in one or more: PMP, CCP, CCM (Commercial & Contract Management Certification).
