Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, staff, and visitors, while supporting the day-to-day operations of the front office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front office customer service, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
  • Support the School Operations Manager and Receptionist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating events.
  • Assist with campus operations, including managing supplies, maintaining inventory, and performing tasks as needed.
  • Support the School Operations Manager with the implementation of systems for continuous improvement of school operations.
  • Provide translation services as needed.
  • Supervise students waiting in the front office and assist with conflict resolution as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the needs of the students, the program, the school site, and the organization.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
