Job Title: Office Assistant

Camino Nuevo Charter Academy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the School Operations Manager and Receptionist, ensuring the smooth operation of the front office and campus operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, staff, and visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the Receptionist with front office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with campus operations, including maintaining a clean and organized office environment, receiving and distributing mail and packages, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Support the School Operations Manager with special projects and initiatives, including data entry, filing, and other tasks.
  • Collaborate with the School Operations Manager and Receptionist to implement systems for continuous improvement of school operations.
  • Provide translation services as needed to support students and families.
  • Supervise students waiting in the front office and assist with conflict resolution as necessary.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
