Job Summary

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will have the primary responsibility to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the real needs of stakeholders, including customers and end-users, and serve as the conduit for requirements that flow between the customer unit and the technical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit requirements using various activities and tools.
  • Lead the decomposition of high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and quality attributes.
  • Develop, analyze, and create communication content and implement a communication strategy, including delivery of communications to project stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement initiative's/product's vision and scope by defining and prioritizing sub-activities, directing meetings as required, identifying operational impacts, and creating mitigation plans.
  • Evaluate moderate to highly complex business requirements and interpret them to design technical specifications to support business needs.
  • Co-facilitate requirements prioritization with project managers and/or Senior Business Systems Analysts.
  • Facilitate and lead group sessions for problem-solving, initiative planning, proposal creation, etc.
  • Establish the strategic direction of process and system improvements initiatives by working with business owners.
  • Perform moderate to highly complex business analysis, reengineering, and work process improvement activities.
  • Develop solutions of moderate to high complexity, ensuring they are consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Provide project management support for technology initiatives.
  • Assist employees with business processes and technology solutions.
Requirements
  • 4 years of college coursework in information technology/systems, business administration, or computer science (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of full-time employed Information Technology experience. 3 years of business technical analysis or technical project management experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, email administration, HTML, VoIP phone systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate technical information with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in creating clear and concise documentation.
