Sales Account Manager Job Description

At White Ash Group, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding relationships with existing partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop and execute quarterly market plans to drive sales and market share growth.
  • Analyze sales trends and store inventory to inform purchasing decisions and ensure zero stock-outs.
  • Collaborate with purchasing teams and store advocates to onboard new and additional SKUs.
  • Schedule events and customer appreciation demos to educate end-consumers and budtenders.
  • Review online marketing assets and ensure the newest and highest quality image is being displayed.
  • Influence in-store merchandising and marketing opportunities to position ourselves as a premier partner.
  • Assure the latest media kit is being shared with the correct people.
Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.
  • Prioritize pipeline meetings to meet saturation targets.
  • Creatively solve problems and overcome objections.
  • Intimately understand licenses within your territory to ensure timely onboarding.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Communicate effectively with assigned accounts regarding invoices, collections, and credits.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of sales and account management experience, preferably in the local cannabis or alcohol industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce and Business Central preferred.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven with a positive, goal-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Must obtain all state-required Cannabis permits, licenses, and certifications.
