Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at WKS Internal Wendy's. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shift Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our team members during their shifts, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Development: Train and develop our team members, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash handling procedures, including counting and reconciling cash, and ensuring that all transactions are accurate and secure.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies and ingredients to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including food safety and sanitation standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team; strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Serve-Safe certification required; other certifications, such as food safety and sanitation, may be preferred.
Working Conditions

The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and other hazards. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time is required.
