Job Summary

As an Employee Relations Specialist at HSBC, you will play a key role in handling internal complaints, conducting investigations, and resolving conflicts to ensure a harmonious work environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders to provide guidance on best practices, partner with the Legal Department on legal matters, and support HR projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal investigations and resolve complaints in a fair and timely manner.
  • Advise on Employee Relations best practices to ensure a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Collaborate with the Legal Department to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft and revise HR Policies and Procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives to drive business results and improve employee engagement.
  • Analyze data and develop reports to inform business decisions and improve processes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve conflicts to minimize their impact on the business.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR, Legal, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience in conducting internal investigations and resolving conflicts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office to analyze data and develop reports.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Consultative HR partner experience to provide guidance and support to employees.
  • Data analysis and project management experience to drive business results.
