Senior Sales Executive - Work from Home

Role Summary:
As the Senior Sales Executive, your primary focus will be to foster the success of our clients by nurturing, developing, and strengthening relationships with them. You will gain insights into their operations and serve as a trusted advisor.
This role is crucial in maintaining Key Accounts and achieving growth targets with new clients, aligned with our strategic growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main customer-facing expert in the fertilizer and mining sectors, collaborating with internal teams to bolster sales efforts.
  • Partner with the Director of Sales and Key Accounts Service to devise pricing strategies informed by market dynamics and competitive analysis.
  • Advise on contract strategies with key clients and collaborate with leadership to negotiate and finalize various contractual agreements.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly sales forecasts.
  • Develop Key Account strategies and plans.
  • Provide consultation on customer processes and overall operations.
  • Engage with laboratory teams to assess mining feed and fertilizer samples, integrating into the product development lifecycle.
  • Evaluate plant and processing equipment to identify opportunities for the mining or fertilizer sectors, communicating improvement opportunities to clients and the sales team.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis and explore avenues for product development, quantifying expected revenue outcomes and adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize results.

Strategies for Growth:
  • Expand the product line of coatings and process aids through additions to existing accounts and the cultivation of new accounts within the fertilizer and mining industries.
  • Take an active role at key mining accounts to excel in flotation testing and position for next-generation reagents.
  • Drive growth initiatives for agronomic coatings in downstream markets.
  • Participate actively in local, state, and national events to promote our offerings.

Required Experience:
  • A minimum of 5+ years in managing field sales and service to enhance sales to industrial clients in a highly consultative selling environment, preferably within specialty chemicals.
  • Experience in commercializing new products and penetrating new markets.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with peers in innovation, finance, and operations to advance business objectives.
  • Capability to earn respect and trust from colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in the Fertilizer industry is highly valued.
