Role Summary:
As the Senior Sales Manager, your primary focus will be to ensure customer success by cultivating, nurturing, and strengthening relationships. You will gain insights into their business needs and position yourself as a trusted advisor. Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main customer-facing expert in the fertilizer and mining sectors, collaborating with internal teams to bolster sales efforts.
  • Partner with the Director of Sales and Key Accounts Service to execute pricing strategies that reflect market dynamics and competitive factors.
  • Advise on contractual strategies with key clients and collaborate with leadership to negotiate and finalize various agreements.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly sales forecasts.
  • Develop strategic plans for Key Accounts.
  • Provide consultation on customer processes and operational procedures.
  • Work alongside laboratory teams to assess mining feed and fertilizer samples, integrating into the product development cycle.
  • Evaluate plant and processing equipment to identify improvement opportunities and communicate these to customers and the sales team.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis and explore avenues for product development, quantifying expected revenue outcomes and adjusting strategies as necessary.

Strategies for Growth:
  • Expand the product line of coatings and process aids by adding to existing accounts and developing new ones within the fertilizer and mining sectors.
  • Adopt a proactive approach at key mining accounts to ensure success in flotation testing and the introduction of next-generation reagents.
  • Drive growth initiatives for agronomic coatings in downstream markets.
  • Engage actively in local, state, and national events to promote our offerings.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in managing field sales and services to enhance sales to industrial clients in a consultative selling environment, ideally within specialty chemicals.
  • Proven experience in commercializing new products and entering new markets.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with peers in innovation, finance, and operations to drive business advancement.
  • Capability to earn respect and trust from colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in the Fertilizer industry is highly desirable.
