Position Summary: We are in search of a Logistics Operations Leader to oversee our operational efforts in the Bay Area. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with our Operations Team to facilitate the growth of our services. You will be instrumental in designing and refining processes that ensure an exceptional customer journey from the moment a return is initiated until the refund is processed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and supervise a diverse team of drivers based on anticipated demand.
  • Analyze daily operational metrics and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by adopting a customer-centric approach when addressing inquiries related to returns.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of innovative processes.
  • Collaborate daily with the Operations Team to provide feedback and identify areas for operational enhancement.
  • Develop and execute strategies aimed at driving business growth and enhancing profitability.
  • Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint areas needing improvement and enact necessary changes.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives to foster long-term growth.
  • Manage operational budgets and financial aspects, including profit and loss analysis and cost control strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in logistics, consulting, or high-growth startup environments.
  • Proven experience in managing independent contractors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects to successful completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to develop and implement effective business strategies.
