Join a dynamic team and enhance your expertise as an Ordnance Logistics Supervisor Synectic Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to oversee logistics operations supporting the U.S. Navy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage logistics operations that involve planning, coordinating, and assessing logistical activities essential for mission success, weapon systems, or designated programs.
  • Conduct independent evaluations of systems and provide recommendations for enhancements based on comprehensive studies and analyses.
  • Ensure adherence to Federal, State, and Department of Defense regulations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to integrate operations and align the interests of multiple organizations.
  • Oversee the complete life cycle logistics activities necessary for system deployment and sustainability.
  • Identify critical issues requiring command attention and develop effective solutions.
  • Manage inventory, container support, warehousing, and material planning.
  • Uphold a Material Documented as Safe (MDAS) program.
  • Administer an Ammunition and Explosives Qualification and Certification program.
  • Establish and implement an Occupational Safety and Health (NAVOSH) program, including workplace inspections and mishap prevention strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in relevant regulations and standards including OPNAVIST D, NAVSUP P-723, and MIL-STD-129R.
  • Must successfully pass an explosive physical examination.
  • Must clear an Arms Ammunition & Explosives Screening.
Clearance:
  • A Secret Clearance is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
Experience:
  • Minimum of five years of logistics experience related to Navy Ordnance.
  • At least three years of management experience with Department of Defense contracts, ensuring quality control, schedule adherence, cost management, and personnel oversight.
Additional Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with the Ordnance Information System – Retail and Wholesale.
  • Understanding of Automated Planning Systems (APS).
  • Knowledge of Surface Missile Systems Maintenance Data System (SMSMDS).
  • Experience with ESSM Maintenance Engineering Data System (EMEDS).
  • Insight into Surface Missile Engineering Production System (SMEPS).

Salary Range: $34.68 to $41.92
