About the Role

The Registered Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the nursing department in our assisted living and skilled nursing facility. This is a unique opportunity to work in a specialized environment, caring for retired or ill Sisters from various religious communities.

As a Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a resident-directed service model, integrating concepts of choice, privacy, dignity, individuality, and a home-like environment. You will also maintain budgets, staffing levels, licensure requirements, and quality management programs to ensure the success of the model.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a resident-directed service model
  • Maintain budgets, staffing levels, licensure requirements, and quality management programs
  • Oversee the nursing department and ensure high-quality care
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • 3 years experience in a nursing leadership/management role
  • 2 years experience in a Long Term Care setting, including end-of-life care
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year experience with palliative care programs
