Job Overview

Laird Noller Lawrence Ford Lincoln Mazda is seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Coordinator to enhance our human resources team. This role is primarily internal, focusing on supporting management in the onboarding and retention of team members.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the main contact for candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring a top-notch onboarding experience for new hires.
    • Oversee the timely execution of onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for each new employee.
    • Implement and manage relevant employee onboarding software.
    • Welcome new hires and execute engagement strategies throughout their onboarding journey, ensuring a positive experience and seamless integration into their roles.
    • Distribute employee handbooks that detail company policies and procedures.
    • Craft and send communications regarding company information, onboarding schedules, equipment distribution, dress code, parking, benefits, and other essential details.
    • Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights on enhancing onboarding efficiency.
    • Maintain compliance with all processes while upholding confidentiality standards.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative onboarding strategies.
  • Qualifications:
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with employees and management at all levels.
    • Understanding of basic technical concepts with the ability to communicate them clearly.
    • Quick adaptability and eagerness to learn.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to make independent decisions.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening.
    • Strong work ethic and a collaborative attitude.
    • Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Education and Experience:
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
