Role Responsibilities
The HR Partner acts as an extension of HR, managing a comprehensive range of human resource services that align with the University's mission. Responsibilities include:
  • Principal Liaison: Serve as the primary HR contact for all leaders and employees within designated units, ensuring visibility and accessibility.
  • Employee Lifecycle Support: Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and providing ongoing support throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Employee Relations: Address workplace concerns and guide supervisors in performance management and employee relations matters.
  • Culture and Engagement: Assess employee engagement levels and design initiatives to enhance retention and morale.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to University HR policies and local employment laws.

Qualifications
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in HR advisory roles covering various HR areas such as recruitment, compensation, and employee relations. Knowledge of employment laws and proficiency in HR systems are essential. Preferred qualifications include five or more years of strategic HR experience and an advanced degree in HR Management or related fields.
