Technical Sales and Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly motivated and driven engineer to join our sales team, focusing on growing business with existing customers and developing new opportunities.
This role will involve applications engineering, sales support, and field service work, requiring a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
As a Sales Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills through extensive formalized training and work under a mentor to gain a deep understanding of CaptiveAire products and application engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide integrated application engineering and design support for a wide range of ventilation applications, focusing on sustainable products and the latest technologies.
- Work closely with Engineers, Contractors, End Users, and Food Service Dealers to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct daily tasks such as inside sales support, application engineering, and outside sales, including presentations, quotes, submittals, technical product support, and job site visits.
- Educate and promote CaptiveAire products to users in your market through conference calls, meetings, presentations, and product demos.
- Research and develop new business opportunities with new and existing users, prioritizing top-notch customer service and quick turnaround times.
Requirements:
- 0-5 years of experience preferred
- 4-year technical degree in a mechanical, electrical, construction, or physics-oriented curriculum
- Excellent computer, organizational, and communication/presentation skills
- Strong desire to interface with customers and embrace new technologies
- Passion for work with an aggressive nature to succeed
- Willingness to travel for training opportunities

Compensation:
