Job Summary:

The Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst III to join our Process and Continuous Improvement team. This role involves coordinating and implementing organizational studies and evaluations, reviewing systems and procedures, and maintaining PowerApps and Power Automate Flows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement organizational studies and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and analyze systems and procedures to optimize business operations.
  • Maintain and administer PowerApps and Power Automate Flows to streamline business processes.
  • Assist in project management and coordination with other teams to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Coordinate work simplification studies to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Review and update operations and procedures manuals to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and delivery of policies, procedures, and training programs to strengthen business operations.
  • Facilitate the development of presentations and talking points to communicate business objectives and performance measures.
  • Track and report performance measures to ensure effective business operations.
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain and administer PowerApps, Power Automate Flows, and Dashboards to support business operations.
  • Administer the department's SharePoint sites to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse groups.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Knowledge of organizational development and management practices to support business operations.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions:

This role works under limited supervision, with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
