Job Overview

Position Title: Senior Business Analyst

Overview: The Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing business operations. This position focuses on analyzing workflows, identifying potential improvements, and facilitating the creation and execution of strategies that foster organizational efficiency and growth. The Senior Business Analyst collaborates with various stakeholders to capture their requirements, converting them into practical specifications that ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of business operations, identifying areas ripe for enhancement.
  • Collect, document, and prioritize business needs, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Work alongside stakeholders to devise solutions that fulfill business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead the creation of business cases, feasibility assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to guide strategic decisions.
  • Convert business needs into functional specifications for technology and development teams.
  • Organize and facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and consensus on project objectives.
  • Track project milestones, ensuring deliverables meet established standards and timelines.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
  • Guide junior analysts and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of business analysis practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, process optimization, or a similar field.
  • Strong grasp of business processes, systems analysis, and project management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and tools, such as SWOT analysis, BPMN, or UML.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management frameworks is advantageous.
  • Professional certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) is preferred.
